Now that Summer is coming to an end, you will no longer have to pay for a beach pass on most NJ beaches starting the day after Labor Day, Tuesday September 3rd.
Here is a breakdown of some of of the popular beaches in the Central Jersey area:
Mantoloking Beach: Free starting September 3rd.
Point Pleasant Beach (Jenkinson’s): Free starting September 9th.
Point Pleasant Ride Park (Jenkinson’s): Starting September 4th, rides will only be open on Saturday and Sundays.
Seaside Heights Beach: Lifeguards are there until September 22nd, so I’m assuming It’ll be free starting September 22nd, but not 100% sure.
Belmar Beach: Free starting September 3rd.
Island Beach State Park: They charge $6 for NJ residents, and $12 for non NJ residents all year round.
Sea Girt Beach: Free starting September 3rd.
Ocean Grove Beach: Free starting September 3rd.
