With El Al being the only airline to fly direct from the USA to TLV (as of 12/11/2024), cash prices can set you back quite a few dollars. Here is how you can still book for cheap!
One thing to note is that in order for this to work, you’ll need either Amex, Capitol One, Citi, or Marriot points.
Amex, Citi, and Capitol one all transfer to Quantas at a 1:1 ratio.
Marriot transfers to Quantas at a 3:1 ratio. Marriot will add a 5,000 mile bonus when you transfer 60,000 miles to Quantas.

Once you’ve created your Quantas account, here’s what you can do:
Search for an Award flight on the homepage from TLV-EWR/JFK or EWR/JFK-TLV.
Here is an example of what will come up.
Keep in mind that award space is not always available, although economy award space is much more common to find than Premium economy or Business award space.
Once you find your flight, you can link your CC provider account to your Quantas Frequent Flyer account and transfer the required miles over to book your flight.
